Rockstar Games and Atlantic Records have announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track official soundtrack arriving November 19, 2026 the same day as the game.
Six songs went live with the announcement. The lineup crosses rap, pop, country, Latin and rock in a way few albums attempt, and one name on it is genuinely startling: Keith Richards. Here’s everything confirmed.

All six are streaming now across major platforms.
Two production credits are worth pausing on. Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo one half of Daft Punk produced the Travis Scott track, which is his most visible production work since the duo split. And Metro Boomin and Future appearing on a Yung Lean song is the kind of pairing that only happens when a project has this much pull behind it.
The Keith Richards inclusion is the outlier. He is 82, and a Rolling Stones guitarist turning up on a video game soundtrack alongside PinkPantheress and Rauw Alejandro is not something the series has done before.
Why 34 original tracks is the actual story
Grand Theft Auto soundtracks have always been built on licensed music. The radio stations are the point dozens of real stations, hundreds of existing songs, curated to place you in a specific year and city. Vice City ran on 1980s hits. San Andreas ran on early 90s. That curation is a large part of why people remember these games.
An album of 34 original songs, commissioned for the game and released as a standalone record, is a different proposition entirely.
Rockstar has been clear that this sits alongside the traditional approach rather than replacing it. The album arrives with the game’s in-game radio stations and score, not instead of them. But a major label partnership producing three dozen new songs for a game release is a scale of music commissioning the industry hasn’t really seen.
The physical editions
Pre-orders are open, and there are more variants than usual.
Three exclusives are available only at gtavi-thealbum.com: a limited-edition liquid-filled vinyl, a splatter edition vinyl, and a CD jewel case, each with exclusive artwork and packaging.
A double vinyl is listed at $49.98 two transparent magenta records with blue splatter currently scheduled to ship November 20, 2026, one day after the game launches.
Additional vinyl variants with distinct colourways and artwork are coming through Blood Records, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, Urban Outfitters and independent retailers.

The full tracklist. Six of 34 songs are known. Rockstar has not said when the rest will be revealed, though with pre-orders live and two months to launch, more announcements before November are likely.

The game itself
Grand Theft Auto VI launches November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It is set in Vice City and the wider fictional state of Leonida Rockstar’s version of Florid and is the first mainline entry in the series since Grand Theft Auto V in 2013.
